LAURA DUPRIEST

Laura DuPriest’s health and beauty entrepreneurial career was cultivated on the runway as an international model. From the runway she launched a 43 year, comprehensive career dedicated to teaching insider tips to women from all walks of life how to tap into the beauty that lies within.  She is a cosmetologist, esthetician, manicurist, certified spa therapist, and para-medical makeup artist. Merging her credentials, she became the owner of Sacramento’s First and Finest Salon and Day Spa, where she launched her own earth-friendly line of beauty products. Laura has authored two DIY books for Random House and has been featured in Oxygen, SELF, Woman’s World, Modern Salon, Day Spa, and Vegetarian Times magazines. Her PBS Special, “Natural Beauty, Salon Secrets at Home”, was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003 and her accompanying book, Natural Beauty was the No. 1 top selling beauty book on Amazon.com at its launch. She offers her expertise to the film, television, modeling, and bridal industries and has traveled extensively with the cast of Riverdance on their United States tour. For four years her "Monday Mid-day Makeover" segment on ABC television’s affiliate in Northern California showcased her finely tuned skills in bringing out the “red carpet” best in men and women. Laura  continues to share her “image transformations” with women everywhere, in person or through media.
